Overview:
The pitch competition is meant to provide club members with an opportunity to compete for great prizes, but also receive feedback and advice prior to going into the TEC competitions.

Ben Skinner is a freshman at Tufts University majoring in Economics and Political Science. In addition to working on Sckedio, Ben enjoys coding, playing basketball, and studying foreign languages.
Cedric Hughes is a freshman at the University of California San Diego majoring in Economics and Data Science. When not working on Sckedio, Cedric pursues his passions of aviation, singing, and hiking.
2020 Winners
Tuber
Tuber is a ride-sharing platform that prioritizes user flexibility and individual autonomy. It takes an innovative approach to ridesharing in that it allows drivers to set their own minimum fare preferences and then uses information about current market conditions in its ride-matching algorithm. Tuber’s ride-pricing model will decrease rider wait times and empower drivers through increased transparency and an even distribution of market power.
Tuber was founded in 2019 by Gus Robinson. Gus is a quantitative economics and international relations student at Tufts University (A23) and was previously a Tufts 1+4 Service-Learning fellow in Cuenca, Ecuador. In this role, he supported the work of an economic development agency and later worked as an English language assistant in a K-12 school. Gus is driven by his passion for sustainable community development through social enterprise.
CloBos is a Tufts student-run company aimed to promote school spirit in a fashionable way. The clothing will be trendy collegiate wear, such as tie-dye or color block. The co-founders, Chelsea Ty and Tammi Wang were proud to go to a top institution like Tufts University and sought out more ways to represent their school while keeping up with the latest trends. Our mission is to provide Tufts Students with collegiate wear that is affordable and fashionable that will make them excited to represent our school.
Chelsea Ty is a freshman at Tufts University, intending to double major in biopsychology and community health.
Tammi Wang is a freshman at Tufts University intending to major in quantitative economics and minor in finance.
